Missions Emphasis 2017 ~ October 1-4
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God (KJV: “a peculiar people”), that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 1 Peter 2:9
We need to live more than just average Christian lives. Our thoughts, words, and actions should overflow with His purposes so that we may declare the praises of him who called us. We might describe ourselves as “Peculiar with a Purpose.”
Join us on October 1-4 and discover how peculiar people are changing the world for Christ, and how we can join them. There’s much at stake. If we’re serious about the Great Commission, we need to live very different lives. We may need to do risky things, sacrificial things, odd things. We may even need to be a bit odd ourselves. You might even say “peculiar.”
